Treatments We Offer

At Cornerstone Chiropractic, we begin with a thorough new patient exam to fully understand and address your areas of concern. By carefully evaluating your neuromusculoskeletal system, we identify the underlying issues contributing to your symptoms. From there, we create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs, utilizing the many treatment options available in our office.

Chiropractic Adjustments

Chiropractic adjustments not only help relieve pain, but also restore proper movement, biomechanics, and overall function, supporting your long-term wellness.

Electric Stimulation

Electric stimulation, often referred to as e-stim, is a therapeutic treatment that uses gentle electrical impulses to stimulate muscles and nerves. These impulses are delivered through electrodes placed on the skin and are designed to reduce pain, improve circulation, and promote muscle recovery.

Muscle Scrapping

Muscle scraping, also known as instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), is a technique that uses a specialized tool to apply targeted pressure to the muscle and fascia. This method helps to break down scar tissue, release adhesion, and improve blood flow to the treated area.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial release is a specialized hands-on therapy designed to relieve tension and tightness in the fascia. Through gentle, sustained pressure, and stretching techniques, myofascial release helps to reduce these restrictions, improve blood flow, and restore proper movement.

Cupping

During a session, specialized cups are placed on the skin, creating a gentle vacuum effect that lifts the underlying tissue. This process increases blood flow, encourages lymphatic drainage, and helps release muscle tension.

Webster Technique

The Webster Technique is a specialized chiropractic method designed to support the health and alignment of the pelvis during pregnancy. This gentle, non-invasive approach focuses on reducing tension in the pelvic muscles and ligaments, which can help optimize uterine function and create a more balance environment for the baby.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a therapeutic technique that uses thin, sterile needles to target and release trigger points or knots in muscles. By inserting the needles directly into the affected areas, dry needling helps to reduce muscle tightness, improve blood flow, and promote the body's natural healing processes.

Therapeutic Exercises

Therapeutic exercises are targeted movements and stretches designed to help improve strength, flexibility, balance, and overall function. These exercises are often tailored to your specific needs and goals, whether you're recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or working to prevent future issues.

Diagnostic Imaging

Diagnostic imaging, such as x-rays, us a valuable tool used to gain a deeper understanding of underlying conditions that may not be visible through a physical exam alone. At Cornerstone Chiropractic, we use imaging to assess the alignment of the spine, identifying structural issues, detect injuring, and evaluate overall musculoskeletal health.
